PURPOSE
The purpose of Sweet Dreams is to provide a quality evening and overnight child care experience that will give parents peace of mind while working non-traditional hours, provide a safe haven for children during evenings & overnights, and create a stimulating night-time experience that will satisfy the needs of parents and keep the children excited about returning each night.

We support the development of happy, caring and productive human beings by providing:

HOW IS SWEET DREAMS DIFFERENT?
Below is how you will experience the difference of Sweet Dreams versus leaving your child with a friend or relative or trusting your child’s welfare to those centers that offer ‘24-hour’ service.

Slumber party?	Not likely.	No party.	Sweet Dreams puts on a slumber party every Friday and Saturday night for your child.

THE BEAR
The Sweet Dreams Bear, ‘PJ the Bear’ captures the spirit of our values at Sweet Dreams. To the Native American Indians, Bears were considered the ‘guardian friends’ – they represented security and friendship. PJ, the father bear, acts as a kind friend and protector to all the children and is always there, waiting at the front door, when the children enter. He stands outside as they sleep comfortably within.

PJ has people friends (the children) as well as other little bear friends, which will interact with the children. Sweet Dreams has an extended family of Teddy Bears that will be available to the children. On a rotating basis, each child will get to choose their own bear. Each bear has a historical personality and a book. Part of the book talks about the background of the bear, who donated it, and when it was born. Another part of the book gives a brief history of the life of the historical figure. Before each rotation of the bears, the children will write in their book (or have a friend/parent/staff member write) what their bear has told them over the course of the period. At times, special guests will come to tell stories about the historical figures that each bear represents.
